Architecture studio BIG has been granted approval to build an office block on the South Bank in central London. The proposed development will replace a block that was built in 1989 and is planned to be 21,000 square metres.

Some readers were fascinated by the project. One praised the “design concept of the building” describing it as “attractive and fun”. Another, while they found the design “digestible”, said they were “still trying to find the flavour”.
