Among the twenty-nine winners of this year’s RIBA National Awards are a Passivhaus school, a London social housing development and a medieval dining hall.

Established in 1966 to showcase “the extraordinary breadth and brilliance of UK architecture”, the winners of the RIBA National Award will now be considered for the Stirling Prize – the UK’s most prestigious architecture award – for which the shortlist will be announced in July.
