To create a huge emptiness within the crowded shopping mall and tried to present the interior space more like an architectural work, a simple solution for the store came up:

Located on the scenic West Lake waterfront in Hangzhou, China, the new flagship automotive gallery and clubhouse for car manufacturer NIO blends the company brand with West Lake culture, giving consumers a multi-sensory understanding of NIO’s environmentally-rooted brand philosophy.

TOD International New City sales office is an experimental architecture piece designed by NAN Architects. The project is located next to the S1 Railway Technology City Station, at the intersection of Wenzhou Avenue and Yongle Road. It is an undeveloped land. The site is divided into north and south two parts, by the commercial street leading to the railway. The project is located on the northwest side of the site, facing the railway, surrounded by multi-level commercial streets, subway stations, parking lots and other functional areas. “How to create an organic connection between people and city through porosity is the leading concept of this project.

Poly Courtyard is located in Chenxiang Town, northwest of Changtai County, Zhangzhou adjacent to Xiamen. We were invited to create the project in a southern Fujian style community club for Poly Group, which will serve as a sales center at early stage and a public club for the entire community in later period. By inheriting the cultural philosophy of “harmony builds goodness”, it has been the direction we are exploring to naturally integrate traditional elements into the design.
