The Soulstory display gallery and store for Italian furniture in Calcutta is a pioneering concept that transcends the boundaries of a traditional furniture display gallery, offering an immersive experience that celebrates the harmonious fusion of Italian sophistication and Indian cultural richness.

The design narrative of Polène’s Seoul flagship store is a sophisticated exploration of space through the metaphorical and practical use of leather, encapsulating the brand’s essence in its first Korean location.

Designed by Blanco Studio & crafted by Kalpa Taru, interior design at John Hardy’s workshop in Mambal, Bali, is a powerful blend between modern design and heritage craftsmanship that elevates John Hardy’s jewelry collection displayed under the bamboo structure.

The San Francisco SVRN store is a distinctive architectural project that merges the brand’s identity with the unique characteristic of its location. Situated across two disjointed buildings on a hillside, the design aims to seamlessly integrate varying floor levels, ceiling structures, and architectural foundations, in order to create a cohesive customer experience. Central to the concept is an elliptical loop that weaves through the space, translating into a series of curved walls finished in green oxidized copper, a material chosen to symbolize the passage of time. This nods to the corten steel used in the previous Chicago store of SVRN, while also creating a dynamic flow that invites customers to freely explore. The resulting spatial tension between these curved segments adds a sense of discovery and embracing, enhancing the journey through the store.

A Heritage-Inspired Streetscape Centerpiece – Located on a key east-west CBD axis, the design forms the centerpiece of the entire street elevation through a rhythmic play of materiality, combining an interpretation of history and modernity. Incorporating a heritage-inspired contemporary sculpted sandstone facade and warm, technology-enabled interior.

As a result of a geometric interpretation of Oscar Niemeyer’s building, a metallic biombo–made of natural aluminum profiles and reused galvanized steel sheets–duplicates the store’s curvilinear window shop and reveals its construction through straight segments. Two openings and a mirror break up its regular structure. This device, responsible for displaying objects and clothing, acts as a mediator between the exterior and interior–offering privacy for those changing clothes, as a large dressing room in one of the busiest corners of downtown São Paulo.
