The CMA is set along the edge of the former Seventeenth Century Vauban fortification, now replaced by a high-speed ring road. The northern border of the site is defined by a railway line and the botanical garden — Jardin des Plantes de Lille. To the south, Rue Abélard defines the perimeter of a wider masterplan area designed by KAAN Architecten and PDAA, and comprising of CMA headquarters, a future complex of five buildings and a lush park spanning the site as an extension of the nearby garden.

The Haus am Buddenturm is located in the historic city centre of Münster. The street presents three building lines with regard to the plot: the two building lines along the row of houses that border the plot on the east/west and the third that forms the plot boundary. These alignments are perceptible on the building façade. This reveals an urban scale whose typology is collectively rooted in the historic centre of Münster.

Boulebar is about community. With the help of pétanque, food and drinks, you want to make people feel comfortable and socialize. The experience is a destillation of a warm French early summer evening at a bouleodrome in a suburb of Marseille – the gravel, the light from the streetlights, the people, the city and the trees that surround the pétanque courts.

Transformation of the Winson castle into a town hall, cultural center, and offices for the CPAS. The communal services, the CPAS (a social center) and the Cultural Center were split among different buildings in Fosses-la-Ville. The communal administration, however, was recently given the chance to buy the Winson Castle – a remarkable 17th-century mansion – and consequently decided to open a competition, in 2012, with the intention of unifying the three institutions above.

The house is designed as a progression of spaces which move from the south-facing entry towards the north-facing living areas, which open out dramatically to the sea, Rangitoto Island and Takapuna Beach.
