The interest of LT185 is to give solution to an affordable flat, that can be the first apartment to start a patrimony, always having the design as the path to obtain this goal and obtain a good solution.
The school is located in the native Ashaninka community of Union Altosanibeni. This region was depopulated during Peru’s Internal Armed Conflict of the 1990s. After 1998 the community returned but lived in abandonment for 20 years. This is the backdrop for the school, which in addition to serving the 200 children of the community, benefits the more than 1000 inhabitants of the region.
In Villa Crespo, in the heart of a block on Calle Lerma, nu converts an old dental mechanics workshop into a space for work, meeting and experimentation. In Lerma architecture, design, visual and applied arts coexist.
This plot is located in S. Pedro do Estoril, a suburb of Lisbon, within walking distance to beach. Waterfront ambiance defines the privileged character of this area, once a summer retreat of local aristocratic families. It is inserted on a large scale urbanization, in a medium density sector for single family homes. Local regulations define basic parameters – building in the center of the plot, leaving the surrounding space for a garden. It allows for a 3 floor house, one below ground, restricts building footprint and total gross area.

The Triangle House is an individual house for a small family. When entering, its triangular shape points towards the entrance opening up to the garden. The main façade is oriented south. Five windows on a curved façade generate a continuously changing atmosphere. Outside a variable curvy shadow on the wall; inside an ever-varying light and multiple orientations. From its lights and materials, the project vibrates with time and seasons.
Everlasting Forest Pavilion: The Intertwining of Human and nature. At present, urbanization is rapidly expanding because of economic and social growth. We are constantly facing unpredictable climates and changing environment, which affect the way a city is developed in the future. As a result, future cities will focus on the development of life quality and environmental sustainability together with maximizing living spaces and modern infrastructures. Ever Last Forest is a space demonstrating the co-habitation between man-made structures and their surrounding environment including buildings, green spaces, and daily life objects, whose resources and waste are all sustainably managed and utilized.
This inner city site proposed enormous potential given its generous width granted via the vacant block within its title. In addition to a rear expansion and thorough renovation within the existing terrace home, a new single garage with a self-contained apartment above it now flanks the property, concealed behind a custom perforated bronze screen incorporating a garage door. This façade is designed as a flat graphic, allowing natural light to enter whilst maintaining privacy within. In tandem with the terrace’s heritage façade, it reads tonally as one consistent surface that will age gracefully.
A single-storey residence in a nondescript, small town north of Bengaluru, India had to be expanded to include 2 additional floors of residences for the purpose of renting out. During construction, the astonishing views of the rain tree canopies from the top floor inspired the construction of an additional floor for a studio space to be used as a pied-à-terre for the family, who now live in Bengaluru. Building on a load bearing structure posed considerable challenges, requiring the plan to follow the basic outline of the existing ground floor structure. Structural interventions included the use of steel beams to strengthen the existing slab at the first-floor level.
