The private elementary school “HELLO SCHOOL” in Dnipro is a continuation of the successful family center “HELLO BABY”, which was developed and launched a year earlier. Its popularity became the reason for the further development of the complex.
All over the globe, countries are facing a housing crisis. United Nations statistics put the number of people who live in sub-standard housing at 1.6 billion, and 100 million of the world’s population are without a home. As conflicts and climate change forces refugees to move to new countries, and as housing prices around the world continue to rise, cities are having to grapple more and more with how to provide safe and affordable housing for their residents.
The presented project concerns the reconstruction and modernization of the old didactic building A, occupied by the pedagogical faculty of the branches of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. The building is located in Bialystok, in eastern Poland. In addition to the reconstruction of internal installations (sanitary and electrical), the main task was to insulate and change the appearance of the building. All these changes were intended, on the one hand, to improve the energy balance of the building, and on the other hand, to increase its aesthetic values.

In the Omori Lodge, we renovated eight wooden frame houses reminiscent of the bygone era, the residents formed a relaxed community through many events. We tried a new system of constructing houses for lease with this newly-built semi-detached house for two households with stores in the Lodge.
The porch house is set on 2-acre farmland designed with a generous court that faces the rising Sun. As a design strategy all public rooms, Formal lounge, dining room, family lounge, and the bar all line the edge of this court in ‘C’ formation. Beyond the built program, a large zinc-clad Porch holds a central position and looks out towards the landscaped court, as a ‘third space’ between the open and the built.
