An empty 400m2, former warehouse located in a residential area on the outskirts of the historic center of the city, was the basis for the creation of vaga – espaço de arte e conhecimento, consolidating the permanence of the Anda&Fala Association in the territory and in time.
It is an architect’s own house for a couple in their 40s and their two children. Within a 30 minutes’ walk from Fujieda Station of the Tokaido Line, the project site is right above the former embankment called “sengan-zutsumi” built in the early Edo period to protect the region from the floods of the Oi River.
Yinan Library and Archives is located north of Renmin Road and west of Fuyou Street. The planned area is about 21.3 acres. It is originally a conference centre, and it now rebuilt into a combination of library, archives, local chronicles museum and Party history museum.
